Public Awareness Campaign: REALTORŪ Pride Campaign

 Tell them. Show them. Wear your REALTORŪ pin with pride.Put yourself in the shoes of your potential homebuyers and sellers and consider how they can tell whether or not you're a REALTORŪ. Surprisingly, a large number of members have not used the very symbol that can help identify, separate, and distinguish them from licensees - their REALTORŪ logo and name. This is the issue that inspired the REALTORŪ Pride Campaign. The campaign encourages members to take advantage of the strength of their REALTORŪ designation, thereby helping consumers find a member of the National Association of REALTORSŪ to improve their home buying or selling experience. After 10 years of advertising, the National Association of REALTORSŪ has established the clear value and differentiation of REALTORSŪ in the minds of potential homebuyers and sellers. The campaign has created a consumer preference for working with REALTORSŪ (members of the National Association of REALTORSŪ) over those who are merely licensed real estate sales personnel. In other words, we have significantly heightened demand for people who are recognized, or "branded," as REALTORSŪ. Despite this success, many REALTORSŪ still do not identify themselves as such. Without clear identification, consumers are unable to act on their preference, and REALTORSŪ may be losing business to licensees simply by failing to communicate their designation. By communicating with REALTORŪ members and making a wide array of materials available to them, NAR is educating REALTORSŪ about the importance of showing your REALTORŪ pride.
